Our Journey

Florian Muthoni, initiator of the project, started his passion for photography in 1986. with a Rollei B 35 and an Exakta Varex.

Fast forward, in 2024, the idea for AfricanPortrait.com was born, a website was created, and in December 2024, photo and video equipment was purchased for the Skillsway Academy.

In January 2025, the first photography class took place.
